How good are your tactics?

This is your opportunity to brush up on your tactics which, after all, are the soul of chess. Until you are graded about 160, tactics should be king.

Do the six puzzles, giving yourself no more than five minutes to find the best move for each. You should be able to find a draw at least in the time limit. It pays to look at as many possibilities as possible. Click on A for answers and points awarded. This weeks optimum is 12 points. The positions change every month.
